We never had very much time-we never went inside-just wanted to see the Outside area of the Museum. The B-52 Bomber was very impressive-note the jet airplane underneath one of its wings!! The Statues are Huge-I thought I had big hands!! Sister Egbert is wonderful. We both really liked the United Nations Flags...
Insadong has one very famous Brush shop-Queen Elizabeth's picture of her visiting, is there in the shop. They all are very pricey-so many sizes and so many different handles. Each one is like a piece of artwork. We talked to a lot of people-we visited with some University students from China and Japan, they seemed to know English very well. I liked the paintings of the Traditional Korea the best.!!
Looks completely different when there are no lanterns strung everywhere. we wanted to visit this Huge tree again so we could just see how big it is. Beautiful Temple-the artwork is mostly carved instead of just painted!!
When we are in Seoul sometimes we stay at the Millenium Seoul Hilton Hotel. This time they had on display sculptures and paintings. Unusual work-very beautiful and interesting. I really liked the Hare and the Tortoise. The chickens were pretty cool also.
Rachael Johnson mentioned an area that had some great antiques-she was right-I loved the Porcelain vases that were Georgeous just like Sister Egbert!!! Need an antique entrance door!! I know how about something to keep some one from going anywhere!! And where did the colt 45 plaque come from??? These areas are better than any museum-they are a museum!!
