The Jogye-sa Temple is just west of Insadong-it is the headquarters of Buddhism here in Korea. As with every other Budhist Temple it was decorated with lanterns and beautiful flowers. We were there before dark so we got to see the difference as a few of the pictures show-the difference after dark when they turned on the lights. This Temple had 3 Buddhas-very interesting. We finally found one out in the Courtyard that was even smiling-most have a very serious look!!. We liked the lanterns that were white also. In the middle of the Courtyard is this huge tree that totally changes after dark when the lights are turned on.
